Agios Nikolaos
Agios Nikolaos: This wonderful harbour fishing village of Agios Nikolaos is a must to visit for anyone staying at Bonnie’s Place it is only a 12 minute drive from Proastio. This small harbour is a hive of activity in the early morning about 5 am when all the small fishing boats return from their night of fishing you will know the spot as all the local cat sit and wait their arrival. Here you can buy the fresh catch of the day. Agios Nikolaos, has some wonderful tavernas and cafe neons where you can have a coffee or take lunch with friends by the sea . From here you can take a short drive further along the coast road to Trahila which is the last coastal resort here with stunning views and rock formations along the.. Way.

Inner Mani
Inner Mani: Take a day trip and visit the Inner Mani, Here is th seaside villages of Itylo Bay, Limeni and Areopoli are well worth the trip. If you want and I do advise go even further into the deep Mani and visit the The Diros Caves which are extensive and spectacular, but their unique selling point is that you explore them on a punt with your very own underworld ferryman, with the stalactites reflecting in the crystal-clear water. Continue on and soon you will yourself descending the dramatic bluff of Cavo Grosso, down to the pretty village of Gerolimenas. Continue south to Vathia, perched high above the sea, whilst mani villages have a couple of towers, Vathia sprouts a forest of them. It looks like a medieval fantasy…

Ancient Sites
Ancient Sites: Monemvasia is one of the most romantic places in the country. This is a Medieval Castle Town, exclusively carved on the slopes of a rock. This fantastic place was originally constructed in the Medieval Ages and has been continuously inhabited since then. The Byzantine Castle of Mystras is geographically located on the southern side of Peloponnese, close to Sparti Town. The Castle is an old town surrounded by Byzantine walls and with an imposing palace on top of the hill. Most of all this place is famous for its Byzantine churches with the impressive frescoes inside. Ancient Messιni is located 30 km away in the western foothills of Mountain Ithomi near the village Mavrommati, it lies over a large area being one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece. Ancient Messini is excavated and gradually revealed since the time of the Revolution and because of its size, but also of its importance, it gives great information about the glorious past. It is a rare archaeological site, where the visitor is impressed by viewing temples, houses, walls and public buildings, preserved in both high altitude and they are in a good condition.
