Kardamyli Pebble Beach
Kardamyli Beach: which is known as Ritsa Beach is 1000 meter long with white pebbles and crystal clear blue waters. surrounded by olive groves and cypress trees with a backdrop of the Taygetos Mountains. This hidden gem is one not to be missed. with Tavernas and cafes running alongside the beach there are plenty of places too while away the hours eating and drinking.
Kalimitsi Beach : The turquoise waters are warm, shallow and calm making it the perfect place for children. Kalimitsi is a beautiful little cove with its small sandy beach it lies beneath the road from Kardamyli to Stoupa. There are no amenities in this little hidden gem so make sure you take along plenty of drinks and your own food.
Stoupa Sandy Beach
Stoupa Sandy Beach: Stoupa beach is in the heart of the village and is surrounded by tavernas, bars, cafes, gift shops and hotels There are free and paying sun beds with umbrellas. With fine golden sands and clear, safe waters this beach is the second busiest in The Mani after Kalogria which is also in Stoupa. It is a favourite with visitors who return time and again..Stoupa.
Kalogria Sandy Beach
Kalogria Beach : Kalogria beach in Stoupa, is a beautiful 150 meters of deep sandy beach and crystal blue water. A favourite with the young Athenians who visit in the summer, there are plenty of sun beds and umbrellas including VIP beds. There are two beach bars and tavernas. It was also the home of author Nikos Tazantzakis who met the real Zorba.. here.
Delfini beach : It is sandy with lots of shingles and some rocks. There is not much shelter from the sun to be found on Delfini beach so best bring an umbrella . there is a cantina at the beach where you can buy snacks and drinks. Delfini beach is quieter than the other beaches in Stoupa. It is a beautiful spot for snorkeling because of the coloured fish and the anemones that you can find here. it drops off quickly into the sea and the water is gets deep quite fast, so it is not really suitable for small children.
Secret Coves : Now as the title says these are the secret coves of the Mani, small beach coves off the beaten track, some are easier to get to others are more challenging but they are all worth the time and effort to get there. Depending what time of year you go you could find yourself all alone on your own private beach in Greece… Ask Bonnie maybe she will tell you
